Keeping you up to date with everything that is happening at the ICA

Our man in China

Robert Jiang, our China Business Development Officer, recently travelled across two of China’s most renowned textile regions – Shandong and Hebei – on a fact finding mission to discover the concerns of local firms in relation to contract fulfilment and to see how the ICA can offer more support.

The visit builds on the MOU (memorandum of understanding) that was exchanged in 2010 with the ICA and the CCA (China Cotton Association).

Robert’s visit also enabled cotton representatives to sit the ICA Arbitrator Exam in Beijing and gave him the chance to visit Qingdao – the location of our next China International Cotton Trade Training Course, which is due to be held later this year following the success of the 2011 course in Zhangjiagang.
