As part of our recent archive project, we have put together a picture gallery of the the ICA Presidents from 1842 to date.

In top hats and cravats with magnificent moustaches, you can now see them in all their splendour, starting with our first President, George Holt, who was elected in February 1842.
George Holt came from a family of prominent businessmen. His father, George Holt senior, was originally from Rochdale. He moved to Liverpool as a young man and made his fortune as a cotton broker.
The gallery contains lots more famous names and faces – some of the more recent ones you are sure to recognise.
