Women in Cotton recently launched an exciting opportunity for a woman in the cotton industry to be sponsored to attend the ICA’s popular Complete Cotton training programme (22 April – 3 May 2024). A large number of applications were received and after a difficult selection process, Mashiat Tarannum of Square Textiles PLC (Bangladesh) was announced as the winner.

Speaking about the good news, Mashiat said; “Being chosen as the inaugural recipient of the WIC scholarship is beyond words. It’s a huge honor and a fantastic opportunity not just for my career growth and network building but also for promoting gender diversity. I can’t wait to see the doors this scholarship will open and to be a source of inspiration for fellow women of cotton industry.”
