The ICA recently visited Pakistan to deliver training and establish safe trading networks.
Robert Jiang (ICA Business Operations and Development Manager), Jon Dickinson (Arbitrator and Consultant) and Konstantinos Dimitroui (Vamvaki Ltd) delivered a Trade Matters training course to 160 delegates.
The training was aimed at promoting the contract sanctity, Bylaws & Rules, quality and testing, resolution of disputes, safe trading, members’ rights, protection and influence. It also covered matters of concern by the textile industry including spinnability and value addition. The format consisted of module delivery, workshop exam, arbitrator’s exam and forum discussions.
Casandra German (ICA Safe Trading Officer) was also on the trip, liaising with local firms to establish safe trading networks. Konstantinos Dimitriou of Vamvaki Ltd (ICA member), accompanied the ICA team and supported the training. The team also met with the APTMA management with a presentation on ICA Bylaws & Rules and other modules.
