New Sudan Barakat cotton standards have now been adopted as the official ICA Bremen standards for Sudan cotton.

Azhari Osman El Tahir and Tag Eldin Elzaki Elnafi, of Sudan Cotton Company, made the trip to the UK to renew the standards. They provided an update on Sudan cotton production and market conditions, informing us that all the roller-gins in Sudan have been replaced with the new ones.
ICA Bremen holds the largest collection of worldwide Cotton Grade Standards, which represent the current crops of cotton grown in each country. They serve as a benchmark in international trading.
