José Sette to speak at Dubai 2014

Mr José Sette, the new Executive Director of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), will present at our next trade event, ‘Dubai 2014’, which takes place this October.

Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Sette says:

“The annual meeting of the International Cotton Association is one of the premier events on the international cotton calendar. I am pleased to have the opportunity to attend the 2014 edition in Dubai and honored to be chosen, for the first time, as a presenter to address the theme of “Shaping the future”.
“Cotton faces unique challenges among agricultural commodities that must be confronted in order to effectively shape our common future. First and foremost, we must face the question of negative trends in the demand for our product. My presentation will focus on possible approaches to be followed and how the International Cotton Advisory Committee can be a partner in efforts to revitalise cotton consumption.”

Dubai 2014 will take place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre and the Sky Bubble, Meydan. The event has already attracted sponsorship from 17 companies and registration from an influx of delegates, including some of the industry’s top names. With spaces limited, our message is “book now to avoid disappointment.”
