Hong Kong 2012: Programme and speakers confirmed

The programme for our ‘Hong Kong 2012′ trade event is now available and six more presenters have been confirmed.

Following the recent announcement of Olam’s Mr Sunny Verghese as the event’s opening speaker, Joe Nicosia (Louis Dreyfus Commodities & Allenberg Cotton Co), S P Oswal (Vardhman Textiles Limited India), Brian Perrott (Holman Fenwick Willan LLP), Andy Ryan (INTL FCStone), Brent Crossland (Bayer CropScience) and Bruna Angel (PCI Fibres) will also take to the stage.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr S. P. Oswal said: “In my presentation I will be sharing my perspective on the Indian Textile Industry and the importance of cotton fibre in years to come. I am looking forward to the event. It will be a great opportunity to know the divergent views on the global textile industry with a special focus on cotton.”
A further four speakers will be announced next week to complete the programme.
Hong Kong 2012 takes place on 1 & 2 November in the ‘Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre’. It is set to be the ICA’s biggest event yet. More than 900 delegates have already registered for the event, including some of the industry’s top names and, with registration due to close on 12 October, the message from the ICA is “book now to avoid disappointment.”
