Chief Exec of HKSAR to attend 'HK2012’

The Honourable C Y Leung, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), will attend the Closing Banquet of our ‘Hong Kong 2012′ trade event.

Mr Leung will deliver the opening address at the event’s closing banquet, which takes place on Friday, 2 November in the magnificent Grand Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In March 2012, Mr Leung was elected the fourth term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The closing banquet will bring an end to the two day trade event, which will attract more than 1,000 industry professionals from the world of cotton. Speaking ahead of the event ICA President, Antonio Esteve, said: “It is a great honour and a privilege to have the Chief Executive grace us with his presence – especially as Hong Kong 2012 is a very important milestone for the ICA. It is the first time we have held our annual trade conference and dinner outside of the UK. We chose Hong Kong based on industry feedback. We knew that the location would attract big numbers and provide better scope for delegates to network and do business with a diverse market – one that represents all links in the supply chain and provides a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships with all important Far East markets.”
Registration for Hong Kong 2012 closes on 12 October so the message from the ICA is “book now to avoid disappointment”.
Hong Kong 2012 takes place on 1 & 2 November in the ‘Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre’. It is set to be the our biggest event yet. More than 1,000+ have already registered for the event, including some of the industry’s top names.
