Big hit for golf day

Twenty-four golfers took part in this year’s ICA Golf Competition on Thursday 4 July at Caldy Golf Club, Wirral.

Speaking after the event, Gary Whittington, ICA Golf Committee Chairman said: “This years ICA Golf Event returned to Caldy Golf Club after a gap of several years. The event was attended by 24 competitors and, although the wind and rough made scoring difficult, the course was in excellent condition and a great day was had by all. Thanks to everyone who helped organise the event, to Matt Bergh and Gail Copple of Caldy Golf Club for ensuring the event ran smoothly and to the catering team for the excellent meal. Congratulations to all the prize winners and better luck next year to those that didn’t.”
