Invited by APPA (Asociación para la promoción de la Producción Algodonera), Robert Jiang (ICA / ICA Bremen) made a trip to Argentina last month with Geroges Toby (CICCA) to learn more about the country’s cotton industry and discuss the benefits of ICA membership. During the trip Robert delivered presentations to farmers, ginners and other cotton industry representatives covering topics such as the ICA Bylaws & Rules, ICA Bremen testing and international laboratory certification as well as CICCA. As scheduled, he also visited APPA’s laboratory to provide consultancy services from ICA Bremen.
Speaking after his return from the trip Robert said; “I am very grateful for the warm reception received and for the opportunity to know more about the cotton industry in the Santa Fe region, the regional and national authorities. We are keen to further develop our relationship with APPA and the Argentinian cotton industry and hope to continue working together in the future“.
