International Cotton Trade Training Workshop in Qingdao

In cooperation with the China (Shandong) Free Trade Qingdao Pilot Zone, the International Cotton Association held an International Cotton Trade Training Workshop in Qingdao from 3-5 June in Qingdao Bonded Port Zone Beijing Road Hengtong Building. The purpose was to explain the Bylaws & Rules and key elements of the international cotton trade, enable participants to familiarise with the arbitration procedure and avoid potential pitfalls.

The training was delivered by Dr. Robert Jiang (ICA Business Operation & Development Manager) and Mr. Kevin Xue (CA Technical Arbitrator and ICA Ambassador).

The training concluded with an exam, with a certificate issued to those who successfully pass.

Bill Kingdon (ICA Managing Director) and Pierre Chehab (ICA Second-Vice President) also visited China to participate in the China conference and meet with the local Chinese cotton community.
