Take up for this year’s ‘Complete Cotton’ training programme has proved so popular that we have had to close registration two months ahead of training.
We have received more than 50 applications for the training and, with only 40 places available, we know some people will be disappointed: “We are delighted that the training is as popular as ever, but we are sorry that some have not been able to secure a place this year,” says Kai Hughes, ICA Managing Director.
“Complete Cotton is very unique and remains one of the industry’s major training programmes. The presenters that take part are some of the most respected names in cotton. We will be running the course again in 2014 and my advice is to register your interest now to guarantee a place.”
Taking place in Liverpool, UK from 10-19 April, the 10 day training programme focuses on key areas of the raw cotton trade – from growing to spinning and everything else in between. The training comprises 21 interactive modules delivered by top industry professionals such as Jagdish Parihar – Olam International; Spencer Kimball – Louis Dreyfus; Richard Pollard – Ecom; Carl Peltzer – Cargill; Mohit Shah – Gill & Co and Peter Egli – Plexus Cotton. The modules include cotton production, ginning, and spinning; world cotton markets; risk management; contracting and arbitration; futures and options; banking; controlling and logistics.
