ICA President, Cliff White, participated in the 15th Australian Cotton Conference held at the Gold Coast in Queensland on 10-12 August.
Approximately 950 people attended the conference and the atmosphere amongst delegates was upbeat.
Australian cotton production in 2011 is expected to significantly improve on recent seasons and, with the majority of this cotton due to be exported, there was a general interest in the ICA, its rules and arbitration process.
Cliff’s presentation was another part of our stated aim to take the ICA international and inform all cotton industry players of the Association’s role and future plans.
