‘Managing Risk’ is an advanced training course designed to develop your risk management skills in the cotton market.
What is ‘Managing Risk’?
‘Managing Risk’ is a one and a half day, advanced training course that focuses on key areas of managing risk in the cotton market – from gaining a deeper understanding of how ‘futures and options’ work to developing trading plans and strategies.
What does the training include?
The training incorporates four topics, delivered by industry expert Chris Kramedjian, Director of Risk Management at Plains Cotton Cooperative Association.
- Futures, Basis and Spreads
- Charts, Trends and Indicators
- Contingency Plans
- Strategic Exposures
Who should attend?
The training is aimed at individuals with a basic knowledge of the course topics (see above). Ideally, participants will have completed the ICA’s ‘Complete Cotton’ training programme.
